We all have a deep appreciation for Rabbi Regina’s contributions to KT. Her many talents have benefited us all, whether as educator, spiritual guide, officiant, administrator, or otherwise.
Rabbi Regina Sandler-Phillips feels equally at home speaking and singing from the pulpit, dancing and playing with toddlers, facilitating a lively adult education class debate, or keeping a quiet hospital bedside vigil. She holds masters degrees in social work and public health, and has served as a chaplain, educator, and cantorial soloist in a range of community settings. A leader in the movement to reclaim the vital traditions of the Hevra Kadisha (Sacred Burial Fellowship), Rabbi Regina has also pioneered innovative Jewish approaches to such challenges as forgiveness, ethical speech, and financial empowerment.
Rabbi Regina has moved on from KT to serve as the founding director of WAYS OF PEACE, which promotes community justice and kindness through mindful responses to human needs throughout the life cycle.
If you would like to engage Rabbi Regina for a life cycle event, educational program, or spiritual guidance/direction, please write to waysofpeace(at)earthlink(dot)net.

Thank you for your reflections on Debbie Friedman’s death and her experience with her “Bubby’s Last Gift.” My spouse forwarded your comments to me (she works at a Jewish cemetery). Debbie’s death has filled me with both gratitude and grief and I appreciate your healing thoughts.
b’vracha,
Beth Greenapple
