We are continuing what one of our younger members has dubbed “Tot Shabbat for big kids”!
Our program of Jewish family education for children aged 6-11 has attracted additional learners in our third year. Our curriculum includes Hebrew reading and Alef-Bet yoga; creating (and trying to observe!) our own “Ten Commandments” for Jewish learning; tzedakah(“giving-toward-justice”) collection, distribution, and evaluation; naming and understanding “God,” interactive Biblical text study on Jewish values, and more.
