Mitzvah Day/Martin Luther King, Jr, Day of Service, Monday January 16

Join Us for A Day Full of Inspiration & Action about voting rights and history; immigration issues; and most of all how to fight bigotry and hate and come together in love. All ages are welcome!

MLK Day of Service honors Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s life and teachings of justice through the principles of nonviolence. Mitzvah Day is held in the Jewish tradition of Tikkun Olam, repairing the world by reaching out to others in their hour of need and enriching their lives and the community as a whole.

Program starts at 10:30 AM, with a light breakfast provided at 10 AM

Please support our food drive. Bring non-perishable, canned, or packaged food (NO glass bottles).

Please bring children’s books (new books only) for ages 3-8 years old for donation to the Elmhurst Hospital’s Auxiliary Pediatric Reach Out and Read Program.

Please donate your new or gently used coats.
